Oppo looks to be working on a few new phones for the international market. In the Chinese market, the firm recently released the Oppo A3 Pro 5G, Reno 12 5G, and Reno 12 Pro 5G. These three phones seem to be on their way to becoming widely available.
TDRA-Certified Oppo A3 Pro 5G and Reno 12 5G
As can be seen in the screenshot above, the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G (model number: CPH2629) and the Enco Buds 2 Pro (model number: E510A) were approved earlier this month by the UAE’s TDRA authority. The Oppo A3 Pro 5G and the Reno 12 5G worldwide variants are now available in the TDRA database.
Whereas the A3 Pro is associated with the model number CPH2639, the Reno 12 5G is associated with CPH2625. Several platforms, including Geekbench and TUV Rheinland certification, have seen the worldwide version of the Reno 12.
The global Reno 12 sports an Android 14 operating system, a Dimensity chip resembling the Dimensity 8300, and eight gigabytes of RAM, according to the Geekbench listing. It is most likely going to be the same Dimensity 8250 SoC as the Reno 12 Chinese version. It will have a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W rapid charging, according to the TÜ Rheinland certification. The smartphone may have a 50-megapixel front-facing camera as well as a 50-megapixel rear camera, according to the Camera FV-5 database listing.
The global Oppo A3 Pro 5G variant was already discovered in the databases of the Eurofins certification platform and Indonesia’s SDPPI certification program. Whether it will provide the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart is still up in the air.
