CNN host Fareed Zakaria will finish up this present end of the week’s global primetime special, Saudi Arabia: Kingdom of Secrets, recognizing it’s personal.
“I knew Jamal Khashoggi,” Fareed Zakaria says toward the finish of the one-hour special about the U.S. association with Saudi Arabia, its religious extremism and imperious principle, and the homicide of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.
Fifteen years back, when Zakaria went there for a cover story for Newsweek, called “The Saudi Trap,” Khashoggii was one of the people who advised him, Fareed clarifies in this clip.
