What makes you stand out from others in your field?
After you’ve found success in a few companies or in writing a few books, it’s easy to get complacent and stop pushing yourself. I know quite a few entrepreneurs who haven’t started anything new in years because they’ve gotten comfortable. To combat that, I start a new entrepreneurial venture each year and always have new projects going.
What’s your definition of success?
Waking up happy knowing you are able to do what you love, and being able to give generously from an overflow of income. There’s a lot of stress that comes with building businesses, but these things make it worthwhile.
What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned in your career?
Any great achievement requires support from others. You really can’t do it alone.
