Son of Sooraj Barjatya Avnish Barjatya, son of Sunny Deol Rajvir, and daughter of Poonam Dhillon Paloma all make their acting debuts in Dono.
When Sunny Deol’s older son, actor Karan Deol, was married last month, the wedding reception included a reunion of Sunny and Poonam Dhillon, who had previously starred as the leading couple in the 1984 romance Sohni Mahiwal. Rajvir Deol and Paloma, their younger children, were with them. In the upcoming love drama Dono, directed by Avnish S. Barjatya, Rajvir and Paloma will be seen making their acting debuts together.
Rajshri Productions and Jio Studios, owned by the Barjatyas, are the producers of Dono. On the movie, Sooraj works as the Creative Producer. Irshad Kamil wrote the lyrics, and Shankar-Ehsan-Loy wrote the music. The teaser includes a brief sample of the album’s title track. The screenplay was co-authored by Avnish and Manu Sharma, even though the story was written by Avnish.
Sunny Deol’s elder son Karan Deol also made his acting debut in 2019 with the romantic drama Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, which was directed and produced by Sunny. Poonam’s son Amol Thakeria Dhillon also made his acting debut with the 2021 romantic comedy Tuesdays & Fridays. Now, their younger siblings are gearing up to make their big-ticket debut.
