The iQOO Neo 9 Pro is scheduled for release in India on February 22. The phone’s initial teasers have already revealed that it will have a dual-tone red and white finish. To formally confirm the device’s black version, the brand has now unveiled a new poster.
The aforementioned poster verifies that the Conqueror Black edition of the soon-to-be iQOO Neo 9 Pro will also be available. The red-white model has a leather finish, while the black version has a plastic back panel with a textured matte finish. It’s still unclear if the Neo 9 Pro will come in more colors. A real-world photo of the device’s black version is displayed below.
Specifications and anticipated cost of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro
The iQOO Neo 9 Pro is reportedly going to have a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display. Up to 144 Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution will be supported by the screen. Additionally, a fingerprint sensor will be integrated into it.
Under the hood of the Neo 9 Pro will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The OnePlus 12R, which is scheduled to launch officially on January 23, is powered by the same chip. Although it will launch approximately one month after the Neo 9 Pro, it will compete with the 12R. It is anticipated that the iQOO phone will come pre-installed with up to 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage and up to 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM.
A 16-megapixel camera will be located on the front of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro. A 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 primary camera with OIS support and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens will make up the device’s rear camera setup. Under the FunTouch OS 14 overlay, the device will run an Android 14 operating system. Along with these features, it will have dual speakers, an IR blaster, and a 5,160mAh battery with 120W rapid charging.
For Rs 37,999 (about $456), the iQOO Neo 7 Pro was released in India. Sub-Rs 40,000 (~$480) is probably where the Neo 9 Pro will start to retail.
