The iQOO Neo 9 series, the iQOO Watch, and the iQOO TWS 1e earbuds will all be unveiled in China on December 27, according to a recent confirmation from iQOO. The main features of the Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro have now been made public thanks to a leak that appeared on Weibo. Here are some expectations for both models.
Specifications for the iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro
The iQOO Neo 9v and Neo 9 Pro smartphones may feature a large 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution (1260p), according to a Chinese leaker. According to other reports, both models will be able to support a refresh rate of 144 Hz, just like the Neo 8 series. These gadgets might be powered by iQOO’s self-developed Q1 chip, which improves graphics performance.
Regarding the battery, it is reported that the Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro will have a 5,160mAh battery with 120W rapid charging. It is anticipated that both smartphones will have UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5x RAM, with capacities of 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor will be found in the Neo 9, while the more potent Dimensity 9300 SoC will be found in the Neo 9 Pro.
The iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro will feature a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies. The Sony IMX920 50-megapixel primary lens with OIS capability and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens are rumored to be part of the Neo 9’s rear camera setup. In contrast, the Neo 9 Pro may feature two 50-megapixel lenses: an OIS-assisted Sony IMX920 for the main lens and a Samsung JN1 for the ultra-wide lens.
The iQOO Neo 9 series boasts an X-axis linear motor, dual speakers, an IR blaster, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a plastic middle frame for added durability, among other noteworthy features. Expected to run Android 14 with OriginOS 4 as its user interface, the Neo 9 duo will provide users with the newest software available. There are also rumors that these smartphones will come in black, blue, and a red-white dual-tone color option.
