College Football Awards: Here’s full list of all winners for 2020-21 season

The red carpet was moved up rather than turned out. The lights weren’t as splendid and the pageantry and circumstance were restrained on Thursday night. That didn’t stop some of school football’s greatest stars from becoming the overwhelming focus.

The 2020-21 college football awards were given out before a public TV crowd paving the way to Monday’s College Football Playoff National Championship between No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 Ohio State.

It likely doesn’t come as a stun that Alabama players rounded up the equipment. Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith won the Maxwell Award and the Walter Camp Award, the two of which are given to the country’s top player. He additionally brought home the Biletnikoff Award given to the country’s top wide recipient.

Alabama quarterback Mac Jones brought home the Davey O’Brien Award as the country’s top quarterback, running back Najee Harris won the Doak Walker Award given to the game’s best running back and Landon Dickerson won the Rimington Award as the country’s top community. Altogether, 20 honors were passed out on Thursday night.
