The event stars Samuel L. Jackson, Hugh Grant, Lisa Kudrow and more.
In case you’re one of many who’ve reviled the year 2020 a bigger number of times than you can check, Netflix hears you. The streaming goliath just reported Death to 2020, a “comedy event” from the makers of Black Mirror that includes some enormous names.
The reported cast incorporates Samuel L. Jackson, Hugh Grant, Lisa Kudrow, Leslie Jones, Joe Keery (of Stranger Things acclaim), Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley and The Big Sick), Tracey Ullman, Cristin Milioti (The Wolf of Wall Street), Diane Morgan (After Life) and Samson Kayo (Famalam).
Netflix hasn’t yet declared when the extraordinary will air and just portrays it as an occasion you won’t fail to remember “from the year you truly don’t have any desire to recall.” Sounds about right.
Assortment has somewhat more detail from the show’s logline: “2020: A year so [insert adjective of choice here], even the creators of ‘Black Mirror’ couldn’t make it up… but that doesn’t mean they don’t have a little something to add.” It proceeds to state the program will be a narrative style extraordinary highlighting “some of the world’s most (fictitious) renowned voices” blended in with genuine film from the year that was. The mystery presented on Twitter doesn’t generally offer any more understanding, either, however it closes with a “too soon?” slogan.
It could very well be, Netflix, yet we’ll need to stand by until this exceptional drops to choose whether they need to consign it to the garbage bin of history simply like the remainder of 2020.
