The Fall 2019 men’s shows are on-going in Paris, and the road style outside the venues is similarly as entertaining as the runways. Regardless of whether it be models, influencers, or worldwide superstars sitting in the first rows, hypebeast style has virtually taken over the City of Light—that is, bold ensembles chock-full of designer names. (Think a Prada cap matched with a Balenciaga shirt and Gucci pants and, well, you get the point.) But leave it to Bella Hadid to indicate how the name adoring look should be possible in a less obvious way.
Yesterday, back in New York City, Hadid ventured out in her own interpretation of hypebeast style that equaled the more peacock-like Paris showgoers. Think extravagance, yet tactful extravagance. Wearing all black, she hit the streets in a padded puffer coat by Prada, the main trace of a logo being the blue patch bearing the name on the front. She styled it with a negligible hoodie and trousers. On her feet, she channeled the chunkiness of Balenciaga’s Triple-S tennis sneakers—an absolute necessity for streetwear junkies—yet picked a progressively under-the-radar mark rather, explicitly Naked Wolfe’s colorful platforms. She also carried a tiny top-handle bag by Christian Dior, the monogramming, again, very discreet, and finished it off with her signature tiny shades and silver hoop earrings.
