New Delhi: The producers of Salaam Venky arranged a screening in Mumbai prior to the movie’s theatrical premiere, and the usual suspects, Kajol and Vishal Jethwa, showed up in style. Aamir Khan, who makes a brief appearance in the movie, too made a splash with a stylish entrance wearing a black T-shirt with blue pants and an identical jacket. The celebrity had a beard and grey hair. Vishal looked sharp in an all-black outfit, while Kajol looked stunning in a sari. Tanisha Mukerji, Kajol’s sister, was also sighted at the screening wearing a saree with a floral pattern. Yuvraj Singh, a cricket player, grinned for the cameras as he entered the theatre.
The movie, directed by Revathi, is based on a true account of a mother’s fight to preserve her kid with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The trailer, which shows a devoted mother and her kid overcoming every obstacle life throws their way, was presented by the film’s creators in November. Kajol posted the trailer to Instagram along with the message, “Get ready to live life Venky size.”
Kajol updates her Instagram family while sharing photos from her promotional diaries. She tweeted images on Tuesday with the message, “Feeling the vibes of Kolkata,” and she looked lovely in a black saree.
