Apple iOS Users May Now Customize The Symbols in The Google Search App

Google is reportedly working on improving the Android QR code scanner’s user interface. To make it much easier to use with one hand, the new UI changes button locations and adds a new start motion.

Additionally, Google recently removed the need for constant scrolling from its desktop and mobile search features. Returning to the previous page system will speed up the generation of search results and prevent users from being inundated with results they haven’t asked for.

In addition to the standard red, green, yellow, and blue “G” emblem inside a white box, the latest Google Search app update for iOS reportedly includes a dark background version. Next, there are two different “G” icons: one with a dark background and the other with a white backdrop and black background.

The recently released iOS 18 update brought additional personalization options for the home screen, which will go perfectly with the new dark icons. Notably, the iOS 18 upgrade on your iPhone allows you to match the app icons to your device’s wallpaper or set all of your app icons to dark mode.

The logo colors available for the Google Search bar widget on Android are the same as those included in the Google Search update for iOS. Go to Settings > General > Change app icon to personalize the Google Search home screen icon. Version 324.0 of the Google Search iOS app has the updated icons.

Along with the square and rectangular Google Search widgets that provide shortcuts for text, Lens, and Incognito inquiries, the new icons are also available.
