Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga went one step further after tackling a contentious movie like Kabir Singh, as evidenced by the buzz surrounding his most recent release. Although there is more backlash this time, everything is going the biggie’s way. The movie is generating a lot of curiosity, which is helping it have a historic run at the box office.
A tremendous success in foreign markets
Ranbir Kapoor has amassed a devoted following in foreign markets over the years; Sanju and Brahmastra, for example, both brought in over 100 crores. With Animal’s unstoppable run currently standing at 208 crores gross (estimates), he has achieved his first 200 crores grosser this time around.
Animal now ranks ninth among the top 10 highest-grossing Bollywood films globally, and it is the 10th movie from the Bollywood genre to break into the 200-crore club in the foreign box office thanks to this collection.
Dilwale and Hindi Medium lose to Animal
Animal has surpassed the overseas lifetime of Irrfan Khan’s Hindi Medium (205.21 crore gross) and Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale (180.09 crore gross) with an estimated gross of 208 crore. Dilwale is no longer among the top 10 Bollywood films that have made money overseas as a result of it.

Dangal made 1435 crores in revenue; Secret Superstar brought in 822.92 crores; and Bajrangi Bhaijaan brought in 482.54 crores.
