The $1 million settlement that Johnny Depp got from his ex-wife Amber Heard following their public defamation trial last year will be donated.
The settlement money that Johnny Depp received from his ex-wife Amber Heard will be given to charity. According to reports, the actor would donate $200,000 to each of five charities out of the $1 million settlement from Amber. He has chosen a variety of charities, from those who help sick children to those that offer secure housing for various communities.
Red Feather, another nonprofit organisation, collaborates with Native American communities to create and execute effective housing solutions. Teitaroa Society, meantime, secures the future of coastal and island communities. The Amazonia Fund Alliance, which assists in funding the initiatives of Brazilian nonprofit organisations, will receive the fifth donation from Johnny.
In the meantime, Johnny recently attended the Cannes Film Festival 2023, where he premiered the event in Maiwenn’s Jeanne du Barry as King Louis XV. Videos of his film receiving a standing ovation after its debut and fans lining up outside the theatre to welcome him back to the big screen were extensively posted on social media last month.
