Esha Vig, an interior designer from Bengaluru and a mother of two, recently won the Mrs. Congeniality title at the Haut Monde Mrs. India Worldwide 2022 held in U.A.E. “Go-Getter”, her favourite word, describes her life journey entirely. She was born into a Punjabi family in Delhi and brought up in Chennai. She enjoyed the cultural diversity of India. An electrical engineer by education, she chose Interior designing as a profession.
She was introduced to Haut Monde by a beautiful soul – Amisha Sethi, who was the winner of Haut Monde Mrs. India Worldwide 2021. Esha liked the platform, which gives women a chance to make an impact in the lives of millions. Doing a ramp walk or doing a photo shoot was something she never thought about, and today she is working on various modelling assignments.
Mr Bharat Bhramar, the Chairman of Haut Monde Mrs. India Worldwide, a global pageant, said, “Esha was always very sincere and punctual with her tasks and grooming sessions during the pageant journey. She was friendly and always ready to help her peers and the gracious personality that she possesses, I think the subtitle of Mrs. Congeniality suits her best”.
Speaking of Mr. Bharat Bhramar, chairman of Haut Monde, Esha said, “Mr. Bharat Bhramar is a visionary. He has been progressively working towards the betterment of women at large, be it creating a global platform like Haut Monde Mrs. India Worldwide or being a torchbearer for social work positively impacting underprivileged women. “
Mrs. Congeniality is a coveted title at any beauty pageant. It signifies the most friendly, helpful, genuine and outgoing contestant in the pageant. This perfectly suits Esha’s personality as she has always been someone who empathises with others and genuinely listens to them.
The 110 contestants participated from across the globe and were groomed, guided and transformed by the official groomer and creative director Sylvie Rodgers. She is an inspiration to millions if not more.
Post the pageant, Esha wants to start a venture for mothers, a unique idea to keep them mentally and physically fit. Added Esha, “Women give up on their identity after kids. Sometimes, it is just not enough to prove oneself professionally. What about our passions, hobbies, fitness, and beauty regime. I believe pursuing the same inculcates happiness within you and your family.”
