After a lavish reception on Sunday night in Mumbai, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra’s wedding celebrations are finally over. On February 7, Kiara and Sidharth were wed in Rajasthan; the following day, a reception was hosted in Sidharth’s birthplace of New Delhi. The couple then flew to Mumbai where their celebrity friends like Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Akash and Shloka Ambani and others attended a reception. Kiara and Sidharth entered the reception venue holding hands; the bride wore a white and black form-fitting gown with emeralds and diamonds while the groom wore a glittering black jacket.
Alia Bhatt, who recently gave birth to her daughter Raha, looked stunning in a glittering grey saree. In Karan Johar’s 2012 film Student Of The Year, Alia and Sidharth made their acting debuts together. They also acted together in Kapoor And Sons. Instead of her spouse Ranbir Kapoor, Alia was joined to the event by her best friend and Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji. Neetu Kapoor, Kiara’s Jugjugg Jeeyo co-star and Alia’s mother-in-law, was also invited. On the red carpet, she and her daughter-in-law shared a sweet moment.
Saif Ali Khan was not present when Kareena Kapoor, looking stunning in pink, attended. She posed for pictures with the wedding’s guest, director Karan Johar. Kiara and Kareena collaborated in the movie Good Newz.
Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra met on the sets of the 2021 movie Shershaah, where he played Captain Vikram Batra, a hero from the Kargil War, and she played Dimple Cheema, his love interest. In Sidharth’s most recent film, Mission Majnu, which came out last month, Kiara was last seen in Govinda Naam Mera, which starred Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar.
