As per the manufacturer, the OnePlus 12 is expected to have the best display available for Android smartphones when it launches. According to a recent leak, the size of that potentially class-leading screen has been confirmed. The smartphone’s internal storage, RAM, and battery life may all be hinted at in the same tip.
A less official leak that claims to have captured one of OnePlus’ new finish options in the wild may have been unintentionally confirmed by the company’s most recent preview of its flagship smartphone for the current generation. There was also an extremely educational picture of its recently acquired, purportedly best-in-class screen included.
With its curved panel and apparent ColorOS 14 operating system, the live image seems to validate that the device is, in fact, the Chinese variant of the OnePlus 12 (or PJD110). All of the important specifications of the 12 are supposedly displayed on a single screen in the product info page found in the settings of the Android 14-based ROM.
They also mention triple rear cameras, which OnePlus previously confirmed are the same as those found on the company’s new foldable smartphone. The well-trumped-upon display’s central punch-hole is reportedly where the 12 will house the Open’s 32MP selfie camera.
In light of this, it appears that the latest leak verifies—for the first time—that the screen’s diagonal length will measure 6.82 inches. As seen in the picture, the screen has an expanded 5,400mAh battery to match that generational increase over the 11. Lastly, with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, this purported unit of the 12 is likely its top-end SKU.
