Animal, Ranbir Kapoor’s next movie, is already shattering records and creating new benchmarks before it even opens. This romantic-crime drama is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced by T-Series, Bhadrakali Pictures, and Cine1 Studios. The film, which has a December 1, 2023 release date, also stars Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna.
The vicious underworld that Animal is set in is rife with violence. It centers on a tense relationship between a father and his violently violent son, who is forced to become a psychopath by the underworld. In Tamil, Animal has sold 779 tickets for 41 performances, and in Kannada, it has sold 1,504 tickets for 16 shows. With 7200 showings, this brings the movie’s first-day advance box office receipts in India to USD $1 million.
Sales of tickets are one thing, but momentum is something else entirely. Even on its second and third advance days, Animal’s pre-booking numbers have stayed steady, matching and even surpassing those of the first day of sales. At this rate, Animal is expected to sell more than 400,000 tickets. At this rate, it will surpass Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan as the third-best presales of 2023.
