People who invested in Fast X should be happy. The movie has not only had a successful opening weekend at the box office, but it is also picking up steam every day. The movie is currently peaking well in its extended weekend after earning 25 crores in its first two days, with 16 crores more expected on Saturday. The movie made 13 crores in revenue on Friday, thus this increase in figures is encouraging.
Now, it will be interesting to watch where the movie places on Sunday. A 20 crore milestone would have been reached the next day if the movie had surpassed 17 crores on Saturday. But for the time being, it would be best to wait and see as the movie will probably gross between 16 and 18 crores. Hollywood films typically don’t grow much on Sunday, and hence it would be a good result indeed if it collects in 19-20 crores range.
With 41 crores coming in the first three days, the overall takings for the Vin Diesel-starrer action movie are fairly good. By the end of its extended weekend, the movie will have comfortably surpassed the 60 crore mark thanks to a massive Sunday that is coming up.
