Age 67, Pradeep Sarkar passed away in Mumbai. Other Bollywood stars, including Hansal Mehta, Manoj Bajpayee, and Ajay Devgn, paid respects.
Pradeep Sarkar, a filmmaker best known for the film Parineeta, passed away at a Mumbai hospital. He was 67. On Friday morning, Hansal Mehta uploaded a photo of Pradeep on Twitter. Pradeep Sarkar, he wrote. Dada. RIP.” Actor Manoj Bajpayee shared Hansal’s tweet and added, “Ohh! What a shocker that is! Dada, rest in peace! (Hands folded emoji)”
On Twitter, director Vivek Agnihotri posted a message. The message said, “We regret to inform you that Pradeep has left for his heavenly abode. Please join us at 4 pm for his funeral at Santacruz Hindu Crematorium to say goodbye to him.”
In 2005, Pradeep made his feature film debut with Parineeta. He also produced Mardaani (2014), Helicopter Eela, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag (2007), Lafangey Parindey (2010), and (2018). He also directed several web series such as Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala (2019), Arranged Marriage and Forbidden Love (2020) and Duranga (2022).
