OnePlus is set to launch the OnePlus 12 in the Chinese market tomorrow, December 5. In keeping with their recent practice of revealing important information through posters, the brand has today released new promotional photos. The device’s battery size and charging capacity are disclosed in detail in these most recent posters. Furthermore, a hands-on video that was leaked has surfaced on Weibo, providing a real-world look at the phone’s front and back designs.

Details about the OnePlus 12’s battery and charging

The 5,400mAh battery on the OnePlus 12 is intended for longer use; according to OnePlus, it will last for about 1.79 days. With a discharge efficiency of 99.5% and a capacity of at least 80% even after 1600 cycles of charging and discharging, the battery is designed to endure regular cycles for up to four years.

The OnePlus 12 offers 50W wireless charging, which is a first for OnePlus phones and allows a full charge in 55 minutes. It also supports 100W SuperVOOC wired fast charging, enabling a full charge in just 25 minutes. It also has the ability to charge wirelessly in reverse. To maximize power consumption, it also has the SuperVOOC S power management chip installed.

The OnePlus 12, which will be released as the company’s flagship phone marking its tenth anniversary, will be a significant improvement over the OnePlus 11 in a number of areas. Recall that the OP11 has a 100W charger and a smaller 5,000mAh battery. It has a 6.7-inch screen, but the OP12 is expected to have a larger 6.82-inch display with a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits and a wider aspect ratio. The OP12 will provide IP65-rated dust and water resistance, according to the third poster above, while the OP11 is an IP64-certified device.

Up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of storage are anticipated to come with the OP12. It will also feature the same camera configuration as the foldable OnePlus Open phone. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which powers other flagships like the Xiaomi 14 series, iQOO 12 series, Meizu 21, and Realme GT 5 Pro, is undoubtedly going to be found in the OP12.
