Inspired by the company’s recently released SU7 electric vehicle, Xiaomi gave its flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro, a stylish makeover in December.
These limited edition phones, which bear the EV’s hero colors of Aqua Blue and Verdant Green, are now pre-reservable in China on JD.com (Xiaomi 14 | Xiaomi 14 Pro).
Xiaomi’s decision to not raise prices for these limited editions is commendable. Priced similarly to their standard counterparts are the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro variants in Aqua Blue and Verdant Green. The official sale date is January 15, 2024, at 10 AM China time, although they are currently available for pre-reservations.
Specifications of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro
Both the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are premium smartphones with outstanding specifications. The 6.73-inch 2K OLED display on the Pro is marginally larger than the 6.36-inch 1.5K OLED display on the Xiaomi 14. The maximum brightness of both phones is 3000nits, with refresh rates of 120Hz.
The Pro sports a 50MP quad-camera setup on the back, while the Xiaomi 14 sports a 50MP triple-camera system. The primary cameras on both phones are equipped with optical image stabilization, or OIS.
The Xiaomi 14 and Pro have different capacity batteries: 4610mAh and 4880mAh, respectively. 50W wireless charging and 90W wired charging are supported by both phones.
